A Word From The Author

Welcome to the never ending babbling and alliteration an sometimes thought provoking ideas. The first thing you should know about me is I’m a writer with questionable social skills which really shows through my art.

Denying Destiny

So what is my book actually about? I’m sure you’re dying to find out. If you’re a fan of stories where a hero goes on a globe trotting adventure to accomplish their quest. Think The Odyssey or, if you feel like stroking my ego, One Piece. Then this book is for you! If you like stories where the hero is also (and hear me out on this) the chosen one- wait I promise it gets better, don’t strike me down for my literary sins- who refuses to follow their destiny. Think Hellboy on his quest not to end the world or Guts from Berserk trying to get revenge on Griffith, this book is for you! If you like stories where the hero’s partner transforms into their partnered magical weapon. Think stories like Soul Eater. Say it with me, this book is for you! Monsters that were once human, magic unique to each mage, technically not a McGuffin quest, corrupt evil empires, magical plagues, and otherworldly locales inspired by classic fantasy with lots of twists and turns. THIS BOOK IS FOR YOU!!

But if you want the actual Blurb here it is.

Jacob has become fated. Approached by a previously human corrupted monster offering him a life of heroism in exchange for wielding her as his wand. To slay an unknown evil. To protect his republic. To reach glory and become a legend. All of this and more if he bonds with her. What are the risks to such a life? Only a deal exchanging autonomy in your life to an inhuman monster obsessed with serving a fascist dictatorship. Obviously Jacob refuses saying the Rayleigh Republic should be burned, not saved. The monster laughs at him claiming fate too strong to be swayed by a single mage. Jacob laughs back saying he isn’t alone. He is far from the only person who’d burn down the republic given half a chance. Though he agrees he is thinking too small to oppose fate. Instead of saving it he’ll destroy the hidden treasure they think will win their war. A treasure hidden in the heart of the greatest dungeon in the world. He will need allies, sure, he will need to train, definitely, but he will deny his destiny. Or die trying. Probably a few times.

What Readers Are Saying

I am currently on the first book, Denying Destiny. I’ve been writing since 2021 when the pandemic hit with a few mental health breaks since. If you’re interested sign up for any news emails I send out about the series grand release or my general blog content. Have a fun day. Because even a bad day can be fun in its own way.
